VA Authorized

Proud to Serve Our Nation's Heroes as a VA-Authorized Home Care Provider

At Westco Fiji Care, we are deeply honored to announce that we are now an authorized home care provider for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). We have joined the VA’s approved network of community care providers and are proud to offer our compassionate and professional in-home care services to eligible Veterans through the VA’s Community Care Network (CCN), managed by TriWest Healthcare Alliance.

Our commitment to providing high-quality care, combined with our passion for serving those who have served us, makes this a significant milestone for our agency. We are dedicated to ensuring that our Veterans receive the personalized support they need to live independently and comfortably in the familiar surroundings of their own homes.

SERVICE

What This Means for Veterans and Their Families:

Through this authorization, Westco Fiji Care can now provide a range of VA-covered home care services to eligible Veterans who have been approved for community care. The VA’s Community Care Network is designed to help Veterans access care in their communities when the VA cannot provide the services directly, whether due to wait times, distance, or a specific need for in-home assistance.

As a VA-authorized provider, we work directly with the VA and TriWest to ensure a seamless process. This means that if you are a Veteran who qualifies for home care through the CCN, your care can be managed and paid for by the VA, with Westco Fiji Care as your trusted provider.

Our Services Covered by the VA’s Community Care Network:

We offer a variety of services that are often covered under the VA’s home care programs, including:

  • Homemaker and Home Health Aide Services: Our trained and compassionate caregivers can assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

  • Companionship and Social Support: We provide engaging companionship to prevent social isolation, offering a friendly presence and emotional support.

  • Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Our caregivers can prepare healthy, delicious meals tailored to your dietary needs and preferences.

  • Light Housekeeping and Errands: We help maintain a safe and sanitary living environment, including light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping.

  • Medication Reminders: We ensure you stay on track with your medication schedule, providing peace of mind for you and your family.

  • Respite Care: We offer essential relief for family caregivers, allowing them to rest and recharge with the confidence that their loved one is in good hands.

How to Get Started:

If you are a Veteran and are interested in receiving home care services from Westco Fiji Care through the VA Community Care Network, the first step is to contact the VA. A referral or authorization from the VA is required to begin care with a community provider.

  1. Contact Your VA Care Team: Speak with your VA primary care provider, social worker, or care coordinator to discuss your need for in-home care.

  2. Receive a Referral: If you are eligible, the VA will issue a referral to a community provider.

  3. Choose Westco Fiji Care: Once you have the referral, you can choose Westco Fiji Care from the network of authorized providers.

We are here to help you navigate this process and answer any questions you may have. We are committed to making it as simple and straightforward as possible for you to get the care you need and deserve.
